These are the brand new songs I played during the latest Lost in the Tracks show (#198).


"Love Intervene" - Lou Barlow

The indie rock stalwart has had a very good 2021 contributing to latest Dinosaur Jr. and also a new solo album where he played nearly all the instruments including this folk-rock gem.

"Atomic Love" - Prima Donna

Fun upbeat power pop

"Rebel Girl" - The Linda Lindas

Viral wunderkinds with a credible Bikini Kill cover.

"No Gods No Masters" - Garbage

Like Barlow, Garbage is another veteran act that sounds vital and energized on this tuneful mixture of electronica and pop. 

"The Feeling" - Stella and the Very Messed

Bright folk-rock from an Austin band. Nice touches like the electric guitar part after the first chorus or the sweet backing vocals in the second verse.

"Light of the Burning Sun" - John Hiatt & Jerry Douglas

What can you say about a guy who creates one of his most perfect, most powerful songs nearly 50 years into his year?
