Show Notes

I was inspired to start with a track from Tom Petty's classic Damn the Torpedos album after reading Elizabeth Nelson's excellent appreciation of it on The Ringer website.

"Cleaning Windows" (#59) and Don't Worry, Baby" (#52) were both among Steve Crawfords's selections for The Greatest 1,000 Songs of the 1980s. I'll probably play his #1 choice, along with a few others, on next week's show.

I discovered "Brown Eyed Son" from the Jittery White Guy Music blog.

The Sophie & The Broken Things and Marcus King tracks came from a recent Music Savage show.
