Show Notes

Sylvain Sylvain of the Proto-Punk New York Dolls Dies at 69 (NY Times)

I first heard the Tisburys' song on a recent show from DJ Calc. I check out the Lael Neale single based on  Iman Lababedi's recommendation. "Hope You Can Change Your Mind" came to me via the indispensible Music Savage show. The Jerry Butler song was one of Jared Brewington's picks when he was guest on the Brian Oake Show.

I said during the show that Syl Sylvain was the bassist in the New York Dolls. That is not correct; he was a guitarist.
