Show Notes

During the show, I said "Postcard" was one of my favorite songs of 2018. It was actually 2017.

I learned about Ruthann Friedman's version of "Windy" from the PowerPop music blog.

The quote about Ruby Fields' Been Doin’ It For A Bit album came from this NME review.

The Joe Jackson and R.E.M. songs were selected because I heard them on the 50 Years of Music podcast. The R.E.M. song I've known about soon after it was released, I wasn't familiar with the Joe Jackson song at all.

I found the Slaid Cleaves song on his most recent monthly Spotify playlist.

"Lost Together" was one of Carl Parker's ten Blue Rodeo songs for the Toppermost he wrote about the band.

DJ Calc played the Bottlecap Mountain song on a recent radio show.
