Show Notes

I heard the Brimsek Brothers song on Rich Mattson and Germaine Gemberling's Northland Rumble radio show on WELY

I found "The Devil Inside" on Saving Country Music's current Spotify playlist and "How Lonely Are You?" on Marc Fagel's running best-of-the-year playlist.

I discovered "Bound To Be Vacant" on a recent DJ Calc's show on Mixcloud (originally on WRKC out of Wilkes-Barre, PA).

For an example of Elizabeth Nelson's work as a music writer, check out her recent review of the Let It Be reissue.

Sometimes I discover songs when they're covered by other performers. I checked out "The Truth" and "Honeysuckle Blue" this week because they appear on the new Jason Isbell Georgia Blue album and I wanted to hear the originals. I did the same thing with "Needle of Death" when Neil Young included it on his 2014 album, A Letter Home.
