I hadn't heard "Wichita Lineman" in quite a while, so that was very welcome. I had never heard the Watson Twins tune and really dug it. And, of course, Teenage Fanclub is welcome in my ears at any time.
ReplyDelete"Wichita Lineman" is one of those perfect songs that never gets old for me. "The Palace" is a particularly good 2023 single that got overlooked I think. You've got to hand it to Teenage Fanclub for not only for all the great songs but for keeping it together and stay vital and productive for over 30 years
DeleteYes, Nothing Lasts Forever is a really good album. Love that bands can get 12+ albums deep and still turn out work that is great and not just resting on nostalgia for their salad days.
